According to Billboard, on June 15th [lastfm]Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers [/lastfm] will release their twelfth studio album, titled Mojo. The project will be their newest studio produced effort since 2002’s The Last DJ.

Their upcoming tour was originally set to kick off May 6th in Raleigh, NC with [lastfm]Joe Cocker[/lastfm], but will now start June 5th in Oakland, CA to better coincide with the new album release. All this in the name of more mojo.

In select cities, the tour will include performances by [lastfm]ZZ Top[/lastfm], [lastfm]Crosby, Stills, and Nash[/lastfm], [lastfm]My Morning Jacket[/lastfm], and [lastfm]Driveby Truckers[/lastfm].   Tickets from the originally scheduled dates will be honored at the new dates.
