roger waters and david gilmour Roger Waters And David Gimour Reunite For Charity Performance

Bringing every psychedelic rock fan’s fantasy to fruition, remaining members of [lastfm]Pink Floyd[/lastfm], Roger Waters and David Gilmour, reunited onstage for a good cause in England over the weekend.

It’s been five years since they last took the stage together and mesmerized fans with their 70s brand psychedelia, including all these hits, plus as an extra treat, see photos from their glorious reunion!

Performing for a select 200 attendees at the Hoping Foundation charity concert in Oxforshire, Roger Waters and David Gilmour banded once again for a four-song set including a sound-check staple of Phil Spector’s “To Know Him Is To Love Him,” as well as [lastfm]Pink Floyd [/lastfm] classics  “Wish You Were Here,” “Comfortably Numb” and “Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2.”

Gilmour and an acoustic guitar-playing Waters were joined onstage by keyboardists Harry Waters and Jonjo Grisdale, drummer Andy Newmark, guitarist Chester Kamen and bassist Guy Pratt. Their performance helped raise £350,000 for Palestine refugees at the benefit.

It seems as though the only thing that can get these two together is a charity function, because Waters previously had asked Gilmour to join him on his massive 30th anniversary tour of The Wall this year, but declined the offer. He commented, “David is completely uninterested,” Waters said in May. “I could have probably gone for doing some more stuff, but he’s not interested.”

You can catch Waters’s The Wall tour passing through LA-LA land on three different nights at the Staples Center on Nov. 29, 30 and Dec. 5. Visit his website for more information.
