Hey guys! We bet you were sitting around wondering what happened to [lastfm]Limp Bizkit[/lastfm]. No, you weren’t? What do you mean? They haven’t come out with a new album since 2005’s The Questionable Truth (Part 1) and they are one of the most awesome, underrated bands ever! Still no? Well. The unquestionable truth is…we didn’t really care either. Until now.[lastfm]Limp Bizkit[/lastfm] is coming out with new album called Gold Cobra and they leaked a song. And it’s not that bad. You heard it here first!

It may seem like just yesterday when you were secretly blasting the last [lastfm]Limp Bizkit[/lastfm] album in your car, but it was five years ago. It’s taken so long for their new album Gold Cobra to come out that the band has been slowly leaking songs as a way to get new music out there.

The first leaked song was this relaxing number, “Why Try.”

[lastfm]Fred Durst[/lastfm] makes an allusion to [lastfm]Daft Punk[/lastfm] in the song, reaffirming guitarist [lastfm]Wes Borland[/lastfm]’s statement that Gold Cobra has a “Daft Punk vibe.” Besides using the name of the band in a song, we don’t really hear it.

Maybe the new leaked song, “Walking Away,” is dafter and punkier? Durst says he leaked the second song because “it’s taking way longer than anticipated to get this cobra train a rollin’.”

Get ready for part of the golden cobra train to roll into your brain.

Not bad. We actually approve.

No release date is set for the Gold Cobra LP, but keep your eye here for future details.
