gunsnroses Guns N Roses Better Not Be Late For Leeds and Reading

Rock ‘n roll rebels [lastfm]Guns ‘n Roses[/lastfm] may be men, but their bad boy antics still get them a ruler tap on the knuckles for being naughty. Officials of the Leeds and Reading music festivals in England say that if GnR don’t show up on time this year, it will be “just another sunday” instead of a “one in a million” performance. What has made festival officials lose all their “patience?”

‘Cuz these are some “bad apples!” Last time [lastfm]Guns ‘N Roses[/lastfm] played the festivals, they rocked Leeds two hours late. Hey. That’s rock ‘n roll, man. But Melvin Benn, the head of Leeds and Reading festival, told the BBC:

If Guns N’ Roses decide to take to stage as late as they did in Leeds some years ago then the performance just won’t happen. We got away with it once. We won’t get away with it for a second time. Unfortunately, if the band chose not to take to the stage on time there’s really nothing I can do. I won’t be allowed to break the curfew.

While they are scheduled to play Reading on Friday, August 27 and Leeds on Sunday, August 29, we have a feeling our boys are going to do something naughty and anger the local council. It wouldn’t be the first time they just threw up their hands and decided that “anything goes.”

That is why, even in the glamorous world of rock legends, life can be a jungle.
