Festivalgoers at the London FrightFest got a surprise visit from director Tom Six over the weekend, who let them in on a little secret: Six and company have already started shooting the sequel to Human Centipede (First Sequence)!
Six, who wrote and directed the original and the sequel, said “part one will be My Little Pony compared to this one.”
He also claims that, while the first one was “100 percent medically accurate,” the second one, Human Centipede (Full Sequence), will take some liberties. It will revolve around connecting twelve humans, front to back, to create one creature.
His plan is to wrap filming in December so that it can premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January.
The first film, despite the hype and hyperventilating from the squeamish, brought in a shade over $181,000 in a limited release. As we told you earlier this year, it got a grand total of zero stars from venerable film critic Roger Ebert.
Are you counting down the days until the Full Sequence? Or is this going too far?
We’re waiting for the Stephen Colbert version, ourselves (skip to 5:20):
