unknown reasons plague dead birds as they fall from the sky

by Jordy Altman

Somebody needs to tell these birds that it’s the year 2011. The Apocalypse is not supposed to happen until 2012!

It was Friday night in Beebe, Arkansas when 2,000 red-winged blackbirds descended from the heavens and crashed in the ground. The deathcloud fell over a 1-mile area of Beebe, covering the road with bird carcasses as far as the eye could see.

Doctors have not been able to determine the cause of the death. There is no sign of poison or disease. Stress may have been a factor, but the theory is weak and scientists are not coming any closer to an answer.

The clean-up just finished this morning. As soon as the last bird was cleared, tragedy struck again. This time, 300 miles south.

In Point Coupee Parish, Louisiana, 500 birds fell victim to the same terrible fate. Fly, fall, crash.

Residents in striking distance of the two incidents are worried that there may be correlation between the two, but officials are claiming there is no relation. It doesn’t help matters that last week, 83,000 dead drum fish washed up along a river about 100 miles west of Beebe.

Is there some sort of conspiracy going on? Rabble rabble rabble rabble….
