Man Sues Hospital Doctors For Watching Red Sox Game Instead Of Treating His Health “Hardship”

While some Connecticut doctors had their balls in a vice over the Red Sox score, one of their patients allegedly sat around and waited with recurrent pripasism–or a persistent painful erection unrelated to sexual stimulation.

Massachusetts bus driver, Daren Scott is reportedly penalizing the Yale-New Haven Hospital for disregarding the status of his enlarged private parts; he’s suing them in a federal lawsuit for a firm two million.

It was reported yesterday that Scott was driving customers on a bus from Boston to New York in April of 2009 when he was tormented with a “persistent and disabling erection.” He went to the emergency room at the Yale-New Haven Hospital emergency room.

Instead of getting efficient, empathetic attention, the staff was purportedly inflexible in helping him; they told Scott he need to move his bus after it was parked in the wrong place and made him wait for an hour while allegedly the emergency room staff watched a Red Sox game.

Scott didn’t hesitate to tell a nurse about his pain.

“Notwithstanding this call for help, the staff, including the physicians, continued to watch the baseball game and ignore plaintiff’s condition,” Scott’s lawsuit says.

Once Scott was seen, his medication wasn’t properly administered and he had to wait another four hours for treatment including an “unsuccessful” operation.

Of course, the hospital is denying the allegations by saying that Scott failed “to follow reasonable medical advice regarding his care and treatment.”

No word yet on what the outcome of the Red Sox game was.
