Your Van Wilder Dreams May Be Coming To End Because CSU Is Implementing New Fees To Make Students Graduate On Time

Been going to college for 8+ years because a) you get student loans that keep you carefree and attached to your XBOX and b) who wants to become a real-life adult? Well, if you are going to any of the CSU’s you can kiss that lazy life trajectory goodbye.

California State University peeps are battling budget cuts with a proposed plan to implement fees that encourage students to graduate early reports

One will be a  “graduation incentive fee” for students finished with their 160 units, another will be a fee encouraging students to be super full-time and take 18 units or more in a semester, and the last will be a fee for students who have to repeat courses.

A director for media relations in the Cal State System named Michael Uhlencamp told KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO that they are trying to change the behavior of students.

“It’s gonna allow for access for thousands of new students and help those current students get those courses they need,” Uhlencamp said. It’s also reported that about 40,000 seat in CSU classrooms are repeat students.

We guess JACK FM will finally have to finish that last class in post-modernist french avant-garde theatre and move out of mom and pop’s basement.
