A Bunch Of Movies We’re Thankful For

Happy Thanksgiving! And what better way to spend it than a bunch of movies in a row?

The Big Lebowski
We love Raising Arizona and Fargo, but this is possibly the Coen Brothers at their finest. The Dude Abides.

Enter the Dragon
The quintessential Bruce Lee movie. While you’re at it, check out The Chinese Connection and Game of Death.

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
It’s an undisputed fact that John Hughes ruled the 80’s. It was hard to pick just one of his movies, but seriously, who can resist Ferris Bueller?

Fight Club
The first rule of Fight Club is you do not talk about Fight Club it, so we’re just gonna shut up.

The Graduate
What’s more amazing? The brilliant performance of a young Dustin Hoffman? The captivating story of a young college graduate with no direction in life who’s suddenly seduced by an older woman? The phenomenal soundtrack scored primarily by Simon and Garfunkel?

Madonna never sounded so cool, that’s for sure. What else can we say about Gummo? It’s just one of those movies you need to see for yourself to understand.

Star Wars
The original trilogy, of course. It’s rare for a series to hold up for an entire trilogy, but somehow, Star Wars maintains. And despite being made 30 years ago, those are still some of the best special effects we’ve ever seen.

Reservoir Dogs
Before there was Grindhouse or Kill Bill, before there was even Pulp Fiction, there was Reservoir Dogs. Writer/director Quentin Tarantino flexes his dialog muscles as the majority of the film takes place inside an abandoned warehouse.

 Animal House
This may as well be about JACK FM during our college years.

The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters
A 2007 documentary about Steve Wiebe as he attempts to claim the title from reigning high score champ Billy Mitchell in the arcade classic, Donkey Kong.
