A number of legendary artists from the ’60s and ’70s will grace the many stages at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival this spring, including Billy Joel, Fleetwood Mac, Hall & Oates, Earth Wind & Fire, Dr. John, Willie Nelson, The Little Willies (featuring Norah Jones), The Black Keys and B.B. King. The Festival takes place from April 26 through May 5 at the Fairgrounds in Crescent City, Louisiana.

As of now, the event is Joel’s only scheduled concert date for 2013 (he also has an event scheduled for January 30 in Nashville, which is billed as “Billy Joel: An Evening Of Questions and Answers and A Little Bit Of Music.”) Fleetwood Mac’s appearance, meanwhile, comes in the midst of their upcoming tour.

Black Keys frontman Dan Auerbach, who produced Dr. John’s latest album, the GRAMMY-nominated Locked Down, could conceivably perform with the good Doctor. While they are playing separate weekends, The Black Keys tour schedule is open on April 26 when Dr. John is scheduled to perform.

Norah Jones’ Little Willies have not played since Neil Young’s Bridge School Benefit concert in October of 2011; at press time, this is their only scheduled performance.

Here’s a list of some of the notable artists playing each day:

April 26: Dr. John, Gary Clark Jr., John Mayer
April 27: Billy Joel, Allen Toussaint, Ben Harper with Charlie Musselwhite
April 28: Dave Matthews Band, B.B. King, Earth Wind & Fire
May 2: Patti Smith, Widespread Panic, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band
May 3: Willie Nelson, Jimmy Cliff, Maroon 5
May 4: Fleetwood Mac, Frank Ocean, Los Lobos, The Little Willies (featuring Norah Jones)
May 5: Daryl Hall & John Oates, The Black Keys and Aaron Neville.

The Festival was established in 1970 by jazz impresario George Wein, the man behind the Newport Jazz Festival and the Newport Folk Festival.  The first lineup included Mahalia Jackson, Duke Ellington, Fats Domino and The Meters.
