The Cult To Play Entire ‘Electric’ Album On Upcoming Electric 13 Tour

British post-punk rock gods, The Cult, once burned down the stage for a JACK FM show and it was awesome. This year, they’ve announced dates for their upcoming Electric 13 tour which will, yes, feature the band playing their whole entire Rick Rubin-produced 1987 Electric album. Memorable songs from the album include “Wild Flower,” “Love Removal Machine,” and “Peace Dog.”

“The Cult’s life blood has always been playing live, we are between albums and decided to continue the momentum created by Choice Of Weapon, stay in people’s hearts and minds,” said singer Ian Astbury. As Love Live was such an incredible experience we have decided that performing the Electric album, an event that has been demanded by our fans and followers as the perfect live set to play in 2013.”

July 25th – San Diego, CA – House of Blues
July 26th 26 – Anaheim, CA – House of Blues
July 27th – San Francisco, CA – Fillmore

September 5th-Phoenix, AZ – Celebrity Theatre
September 6th – Las Vegas, NV – House of Blues
September 7th – Los Angeles, CA – Wiltern Theatre
September 8th – Los Angeles, CA – House of Blues
