Bruce Springsteen has been recording new music, but not by his lonesome. The follow-up to his 2012 album Wrecking Ball will feature work with Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello.
The two started recording music together in Sydney while on a brief break from tour. Springsteen told Rolling Stone via NME that they’ve never recorded their music like that and the whole process was “very exciting.”
Recording with Morello also made Sprinsteen very happy. “I have stuff I’m working on that I’m very happy about,” elaborated Springsteen. “I hate to say, because I don’t like to be wrong, but I have a lot of material. I still feel like I’m in the middle of the well,” he revealed.
Most recently, Sprinsteen dedicated his 11-song set of Born to Run back to front to recently deceased actor James Gandolfini.
