One of the coolest supergroups ever has struck again. “Sirvana” – made up of Sir Paul McCartney and the surviving members of Nirvana (Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear) – got together at McCartney’s concert at Safeco Field Friday night (July 19).

The all-star band first performed at the 12.12.12 Benefit For Sandy at Madison Square Garden last year, and also played on Saturday Night Live.  However, at both of those appearances, they only performed “Cut Me Some Slack,” the song they did for the soundtrack of Grohl’s Sound City documentary.  This time, they jammed on a couple of other songs: the Beatles‘ “Get Back,” a cover of Little Richard’s “Long Tall Sally,” and two more Fab Four classics: “Helter Skelter” and “The End.”
