Instead of just putting out a promo video with some sexpot models or something obscure and mysterious, Kings of Leon opted for hilarity by recruiting It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s Glenn Howerton, Charlie Day and Danny DeVito for a promo video for their upcoming album, Mechanical Bull.

In the video, Dennis is trying to eat a hoagie with Devito, but gets distracted by an appeal to make a Kings of Leon promotional video. Throughout the whole thing, he blows money on meaningless video and ends up making a super crappy video that him and Devito laugh at when they finally get to take a bite of their sandwiches.

What the tie-in is with the video isn’t remotely obvious, other than Kings of Leon must be some down dudes to let It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia‘s absurd humor to represent their upcoming sound.
