Dave Grohl, Jack Black & Val Kilmer ’70s Supergroup To Appear On Internet Series, Ghost Ghirls

What happens when you combine Foo Fighter Dave Grohl, Tenacious D Jack Black, and Batman Val Kilmer? They create really rad super-groups like Sweetriver and The Huckleberry Dogs.

Now they’re a fictional band in a Yahoo web series called Ghost Ghirls where they play a country rock band from the South.

Two other characters, the actual Ghost Ghirls, are trying to help the band record their last song so they can get to the after life. But the band actually has more than one song.

The two country rock tunes, “Georgia Peach” and “Back To The Beginning” are currently available on iTunes.

Foo Fighters are supposedly on a mini hiatus, Tenacious D just played the Santa Monica Pier, and no one really knows what Val Kilmer is up to.
