People are so gullible and Jimmy Kimmel is fully aware of that.  So his show took to the streets in front of his studios on Hollywood Blvd. asking pedestrians where they were when they heard the news of a huge earthquake striking the next day at 8:30am.

As expected, almost every single person asked had heard about the news about “the big one” striking the following morning.   One read it on the Facebook and confirmed it online, another thought she heard it on the news or read it in the newspaper.

Luckily these people will be prepared when it strikes by stocking up on water and non-perishable goods.  One woman even said she would eat her pet if need be.

Kudos to the one foreign couple who said “It’s a non-event…We just think that’s some sort of spoof news item perhaps.”  Yes sir, you are correct.

Luckily Hollywood Blvd. never fails to disappoint.
