Usually comic book stores smell a lot of like teen “spirit,” which is why a new comic book biography of the late singer, Kurt Cobain, will be a perfect way to remember the Nirvana frontman on the 20th anniversary of his untimely death.

Even more of an icon 20 years later (which with the millenials), the comic book will be drawn and written by Jayfri Hashim and released on April 2.

“The Tribute line of comic books tells the stories of people that have made a significant difference in the world while they were with us that,” said Bluewater publisher Darren G. Davis. “It is a way for us to honor these people who have made a difference in the world. Not only is this a great way to understand the importance of his contribution to music, but a great tool for kids to read about him in a different medium. Our biography comic books are now taught in schools and libraries for students and reluctant readers.”

Other biography comic books include Freddie Mercury coming soon, Keith Richards, and Jim Morrison.

Not only is the anniversary of the death of Cobain coming soon, but Nirvana is being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year on April 10.
