New Order are currently touring the U.S. with La Roux as opener, and with reports that they are working on a new album for 2015, even debuting some new music at the concerts,  New Order fans shouldn’t expect much more from the legendary group.

Nevertheless, Bernard Sumner, guitarist for both New Order and their earlier incarnation, Joy Division, has written an autobiography slated for release this fall. Titled Chapter and Verse, the collection will chronicle his life as member of both groups, and knowing the history there, it should make for a compelling collection.

As Pitchfork notes, the next New Order album will be the first without Peter Hook, who separated from the band in 2007 to form with own version of New Order, Peter Hook and the Light.

Chapter and Verse will be in your local book store and your non-local web-store on September 25 via Bantam Press.
