Westside YouTuber Records Her Hotel Neighbors Having Loud, Obnoxious Sex [Slightly NSFW Sounds]

By Jordy Altman

Santa Monica used to be a quiet, peaceful city – until the Palihouse hotel moved in across the street and couples started doing it loudly aaaall niiiiiight loooooong.

At least that’s what Laura Wilson would say. Wilson is a devoted YouTuber cataloguing a litany of complaints directed toward the hotel in question. While you would think that living in Santa Monica would be a picturesque, beachside dream, the Palihouse hotel is a rude awakening for its residential neighbors.

The Palihouse opened in the summer of 2013, converting an old apartment building into the boutique hotel it is today. Perhaps opening posh-and-public living quarters in the middle of a sleepy neighborhood is not the best idea, especially if you are neighboring a light-sleeper with a vicious YouTube addiction.

Wilson has been releasing her series of YouTube complaint videos for over a year, weaving a chronicle of horrid hotel guests and even worse staff. When guest rooms are situated right across from your bedroom, it’s kind of hard not to eavesdrop, but the constant complaints range from the infuriating – hearing hotel guests doing the mattress mambo – to the bothersome – overhearing a phone call.

Her most recent video contains the soundtrack of a most explicit sexual encounter, confined to the walls of the Palihouse bedroom but spilling into Wilson’s home. It’s a dramatic video with a tense soundtrack, but Wilson makes the point very clear:

“One of the advantages of having a hotel in our residential neighborhood: 12:14 a.m. wakeup calls of people having sex forgetting where they are.”

Other videos from her Palihouse series include:

Yelling at loud talkers in the hotel courtyard

and

Harassing the early-morning maintenance crew”

Who do you side with – Wilson or Palihouse?
