In what has to be one of the more emotional moments of their career, Eagles of Death Metal returned to Le Bataclan on Tuesday (Dec. 8) to pay tribute to the victims.
The band performed with U2 at AccorHotels Arena on Monday evening. Before leaving the country, though, they stopped by the venue, standing outside the entrance amid numerous flowers and words others have left as a memorial. Agence France-Presse reports (translated via Spin) that the band members, which included Jesse Hughes, Dave Catching, and Julian Dorio, “bowed before the entrance.”
On November 13, Eagles of Death Metal performed at Le Bataclan when a group of terrorists opened fire on the audience, killing 89 and wounding several others. All band members escaped.
