LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Officers from the UCLA and Los Angeles police departments dispersed a crowd early Thursday that became rowdy while watching UCLA’s “Undie Run.”
There were about 8,000 runners and several hundred spectators when officers were called to the scene around 1 a.m., UCLA Campus police Sgt. J. Pak said.
Pak said the runners were relatively “tame” and that the problem came from “a large entourage that comes to watch” the antics. Some of the revelers jumped on top of an LAPD car as crowds were dispersed, Pak said.
