With the Powerball’s big $1.5 billion drawing reaching over $1.5 billion dollars, it’s no surprise that people are dreaming of what they’d do with their earnings if they won. Granted, most people won’t win, but those few dollars it takes to get a ticket sure do buy you a dream that makes it worth it. One lucky ticket holder will eventually have a chance to receive a massive windfall of cash. The over 10 million residents in Los Angeles County will be hoping it will be one of them, and as such will be glued to their TVs for the drawing. Although the grand prize winner won’t take home the full $1.5 billion with taxes taken out, Angelenos are rushing to buy their $2 Powerball tickets or $3 for a Power Play ticket, in hopes to strike gold.

2.) Rent Out Disneyland For A Few Nights With Your Friends

As the happiest place on earth and a rite of passage for any Angeleno, Disneyland is never a bad place to visit. But, it’s also synonymous with massive crowds and tourists. Well that could certainly change if you had the money to use some of your winnings to rent out the park for a few nights and have the park to yourself. Forget the need to plan ahead and get there early, or get in the Fast Pass lane. Instead, throw a thousands of dollars at the park and enjoy all the rides you want at your leisure. Take pictures with infamous characters and enjoy the beautiful fireworks display too with all of your friends. Think of it as your own private theme park, for a time atleast.

3.) Become A Part-Owner in the New LA Rams Football Team

In case you missed the groundbreaking news, football is coming back to LA. From 1964 to 1994, The Los Angeles Rams were Los Angeles football royalty until they were relocated to St. Louis to the dismay of LA football fans. But, luckily, the tides have changed. Why not spend some of your easily earned winnings on being a stakeholder in the first LA football team in decades? A reported $2 billion stadium is going to be built to house luxury suites, and state of the art facilities that will be second to none in the entire world too. As an owner, you’d have some some serious bragging rights.

4.) Get Your Own Malibu Beach Pad

You know you’ve made it when you’ve got a Malbiu beach pad. Known for our pristine beaches, Malibu offers some of the most pristine of them and is one of the most secluded and beautiful parts of LA filled with sandy beaches, bluff backed crescent coves, and rocky headlands. Now that you are rich, you can buy a multi million mega-mansion on the beach so that you have access to a private beach whenever you want. Don’t worry about the crowds, noise or parking as you now have a beach you (and those close to you) can call your own. You can even buy two or three just to get even more space. After all, money’s no object at this point!

The legendary Hollywood Bowl, is one of America’s most storied outdoor concert amphitheaters and by far the best concert venue in Los Angelesm and arguably the world. Now that you have the money to do whatever you want, why not just rent the venue out instead of waiting and hoping for your favorite band to come and play. Invite them (and maybe another favorite band as an opener) to host a private concert for you and your friends. Rock the night out for a once in a lifetime experience that others can only dream about! Money can buy a lot of things these days.

6.) Give Back

You could of course be selfless and use atleast some of that after-tax money to help those in need. Help get those people that require and need your help get off the streets, train them for jobs and turn their life around. Good karma? We think so! Maybe you’ll end up winning the lottery again.
